Backstory:

When Kas was very young his mother died in a car accident and he was left to live with his father, who was a major drunk. His father would often get drunk and wind up beating him for absolutely no reason at all. This caused Kas to drop out of school 17 and ran away from home with nothing but the clothes he was wearing and bag with food and weapons in it.

He started getting into drugs and gang stuff at around 20 years old, once he had a job, though he was a street rat. He joined Cole's gang when he turned 24, and was given the mask he has now, which was once Cole's. Now since he's dating Cole, he lives with him, though it's not much of a change since Cole lives in an abandoned building.
